Healing the Addicted Heart Workshop, Manchester, May
with EFT Masters and leading innovators Sue Beer and Emma Roberts
Why is the Heart important when you Clear Addictions?
My colleagues Sue Beer and Emma Roberts from the EFT Centre, London will be answering these questions and much more when they bring the, “Healing the Addicted Heart Workshop” to Manchester on the 18th- 20th May 2012.
I recently had the opportunity to see both Sue and Emma in action, at the EFT Masterclass in York, England. I was very impressed!
My interest in doing therapy has always been in the area of minimalism. How can we achieve fast results……… that last!
Emma and Sue definitely have the same idea in mind. Their work builds off some of the latest understanding we have from neuroscience of the heart/ brain connection. It incorporates this knowledge with the power of EFT. In fact they go one step further, innovating, having developed some of their own approaches.
Sue Beer an expert in the field of working with addictions and author of the cutting edge book, “Healing the Addicted Heart: 5 Stages of Transformation with EFT”, describes the workshop as, “very experiential, hands on”. She will be expanding on the work she presented at the EFT Masterclass Conference.
Addictions and Beyond
Although the title of the workshop is, Addictions, it is used here in the broader sense. What we typically think of as addictions are: food issues, alcohol problems, computer addictions, gambling, texting. However, we can become addicted to ways of thinking! This workshop also deals with these more innocuous forms of addictions that can have an extremely detrimental effect on our health. In fact in his latest book, Joe Dispenza (author and leading researcher), talks about the need to, Break the Habit of Being Yourself” if you want to create happiness and health in your life. This is the broader addiction talked about here. We become locked and addicted to patterns of thinking and being that do not serve us in creating the life we want to live.
The Heart and Its Importance
So, why is the heart so important? Did you know the heart has its own brain? Did you know the heart and brain are in constant communication? Did you know that when your heart is in a place of coherence, you are in a place of health? The heart is the key when it comes to creating powerful lasting results.
The Heart and EFT
EFT in and of itself is a very powerful technique when it comes to creating change. When you combine an understanding of the importance of the heart in the way you deliver EFT, it can be very effective.
