EFT, TV Shows and Chocolate Addictions

This is the Outsiders TV Show in which I worked with Claire on her £30/ $60 per week chocolate addiction. The EFT session lasted 45 minutes in reality although only a small portion of this was screened in the documentary.

This Swedish documentary TV show was filmed in March 2007 in North Wales in the UK. As of January 2008 Claire has not reverted back to her chocolate compulsion, in fact she rarely eats chocolate. Before the therapy session Claire knew very little about EFT. She had never used it before the actual filming of the show. Although not shown on the documentary, the whole session took place in front of the camera with no pauses. The cameraman was sat on the floor in front of myself and Claire using a variety of camera positions as we worked on her addiction.

At the end of the filming of the therapy section, Claire gave the chocolates away to the director of the shoot.

  • Even though my chocolate addition was not as debilitating as Claires, I did love my chocolate a little too much, however I had the benefit of undergoing this therapy for my chocolate addiction when I did the EFT level one course with Tania in August 2007, in fact since then Ive never had the desire for any chocolate and have lost over 20lbs since then. Having just completed my EFT level two with Tania it was superb to watch it happen from a practitioners point of view (she now says proudly) then from a clients. Superb

  • Lovely to hear from you Kerrie. With some people EFT works stunningly quickly with chocolate addictions. I’m glad it worked so well for you.
The interesting thing about working with Claire is that on the first round of tapping using EFT she just looked at me with that look that says, “you dare make me give up the chocolate”.

So I didn’t actually tap on the chocolate we just found the emotional issues that were driving the need to comfort eat and just tapped them out.
