What is EFT?
EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques) is an advanced form of psychological acupressure. There are no needles involved. It is one of the new Energy Psychology Techniques. These techniques are at the very cutting edge of the psychotherapy field. Although forms of Energy Therapy have been around for a long time these techniques are very new, most having been developed in the 1990’s.
What can EFT be used for?
This is a frequently asked question. EFT is commonly used on both emotional and physical problems.
What type of issues have I worked with?
As someone who has worked in the field of psychotherapy for eighteen years, I have experience of working with a huge range of problems.
I am happy to discuss treatment strategies with people who would like to know more about how I work and how I would treat their particular issue.
The areas I have specialist knowledge in are:
- Public Speaking
- Blushing
- Panic Attacks
- Self Confidence
How long will it take?
It is difficult to give an accurate duration for the length of time required to work on any issue as they vary in complexity from person to person.
How will I know if it is working?
EFT Therapy is done in a very methodical way, in that at the initial session I set up a way to evaluate progress. For example, with the issue of panic attacks, a way to check on progress would be to identify the frequency of them occurring, and under what circumstances they occur etc. This can then be used to monitor the progress occurring as a result of the session.
In a therapy session it is important to know when the work that is being done is gaining a result, thus a feedback mechanism is also set up in the session itself, so that the EFT can be targeted more effectively.
Commonly, impotence is quite likely to be psychological rather than physical if the man is still waking with morning erections kamagra jelly. Generally, both men and women are affected by sexual dysfunctions. Low self-esteem, stress, anxiety, and some remedies can reduce your desire.
For example
When asked to think about giving a presentation the person feels a tight feeling in their chest, the intensity of this feeling is 8 on a scale from 0-10 (ten being the worst they have ever felt that feeling)
After using EFT, the intensity of the feeling in the person’s chest would be reassessed
This provides a method of assessing progress throughout the session.
