EFT and Empowering the Philippines
Hi,
It has been a while since I have posted on my blog, what can I say, been busy:-)
I have become a publisher of a digital magazine, Healthy Life ABC. At the moment it is only available in the iTunes app store. It plays on iPads and iPhones. It has got lots of great articles by leading experts from around the world. I will be expanding into the android market shortly as soon as I get my head around going through the submission process. I think I need a therapist at that thought!
In April I flew to the Philippines to be part of the Empowering the Philippines project to help the typhoon survivors. The project was set up by Sebastiaan van de Schieer. During the project we taught the people of the Philippines Tapping (EFT) to release their trauma. We taught children, mothers, fathers, police, socials workers, grandmothers, anyone who was open to learn. It was an absolute pleasure to be able to help these strong resilient people. People who thought that it was not possible to let go of their vivid memories of their horrific events. With Tapping you could see the change in these people as they realised they did not have to live with those memories. (The mind can let go of memories. To do so you have to let go/ release the emotion attached to them (this can often be done gently using tapping). Once this happens the memories tend to fade and become more distant because the mind treats them as old/ past memories, which indeed they are)
Here is the video shot by team member Tom. Tom flew in from Thailand to help out. He not only taught tapping, he was film guy and tech man, amazing feat:-)
All the best,
Tania
